You’ve heard the message “CHOICE & CONSEQUENCE: Sex” at the Mid-High gathering. Now here’s what you can do with it the other 6 days of the week:
Monday – Read Matthew 5:27-30. What do you think Jesus meant when he talked in verse 28 about looking at another person lustfully? How are his words relevant to you?
Tuesday – Read Matthew 5:27-30 again. If we don’t cross any lines physically and get involved in physical sexual activity, why does God care about our thoughts?
Wednesday – Read Matthew 5:27-30 again. What was Jesus trying to communicate in verses 29 and 30? If God doesn’t want us to literally cut off our hands-and he doesn’t-then what truth does Jesus want us to understand?
Thursday – Read Matthew 5:27-30 again. If you choose to follow God’s plan in one area of life but not in other areas, how might that affect you? Do you think it’s possible? Explain.
Friday – What would it really look like to “run away” from sexual sin in your life? Is this something you can do easily, or is it a struggle?
Saturday – Memorize 1 Corinthians 6.18: Run from sexual sin! No other sin so clearly affects the body as this one does. For sexual immorality is a sin against your own body
