I’ve been using the free SparkPeople iPhone app (and website) to help monitor my caloric intake for several days now. Above are the results of my second week of monitoring. This week was much better. 6 out the last 7 days I was under my target (of 2,440) and the only time I went over was by 5 calories. So, it’s been pretty successful. Since I’ve started, I’ve been over 9 times, within range 8 times, and under once. I’ll weigh in again in a week and see if anything’s changed over a month.
This gives me direction and posting it gives me accountability. Maybe you could benefit from this, too.
