This morning I went to QT before work and had a tiny revelation. The parking lot was packed and the employees who work at light speed actually had to open three registers. But in the QT I saw construction workers, a sheriff, interior decorators, landscapers, house remodelers, MODOT drivers; all before I got my Dr. Pepper and a doughnut. And it was kind of cool seeing all of these people heading out to work. It helped me realize why hard work is a respectable thing.
There was another guy in front me at the doughnut window. It looked like he just woke up and he bare-handed the bear claws. And that, too, helped me realize why hard work is a respectable thing.
